This collaborative effort reflects the power of strong partnerships and shared dedication to our community's well-being. Trees don't heal like humans. Instead, they defend. In this new article, we explore Compartmentalization of Decay in Trees (CODIT), a fascinating and essential defense system that allows trees to isolate wounds, resist decay, and continue thriving despite injury. Whether you're an arborist, ecologist, or simply a tree enthusiast, understanding CODIT reshapes how we view tree care, pruning, and long-term forest health. Join us as we explore the intricate and extraordinary process of CODIT.
